Vacation Clock In/Out
Sometimes, a GPS re-set is necessary. Typically, this is because the place of service is at a condo or apartment. Because only the office location is usually marked on Google, that means the actual apartment might be a full 0.2 miles (or more) away from the "expected" location of the office. Other reasons for a GPS re-set is when the caregiver is working with the client on vacation. In some states, it is still a requirement for the caregiver to clock in and out even when not at the client's home and on a client vacation. Please check your state guidelines for further information.
To correct this issue, you can adjust the location for service using a GPS re-set. If you do not have the GPS re-set visit type, you will need to contact your Administrator to ask for Support to request one be added to your system.
Once the GPS Reset is created by Support, the caregiver will need to follow the steps below:
- Log into the Ankota Caregiver App
- Select My (Scheduled Visits)
- Clock In and Out of the GPS re-set visit
- Contact Administrator so they can contact Ankota support and fix coordinates accordingly
Lastly, reach out to Admin once back at home from vacation to change coordinates back.
